For the paediatric and adolescent psychiatry department at the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf, we have designed an environment that conveys safety, security and positive impulses. The brief: to create spaces that support therapeutic work and provide support and orientation for young patients in a sensitive phase of their lives. With a well thought-out colour and lighting concept, child-friendly shapes and custom-made, robust furniture from our own production, we have created an environment that is both functional and emotionally convincing – friendly, clear and with a special focus on the well-being of children and adolescents.
